Santa's Grotto and Christmas Rescue
It’s time to get into the festive spirit with an invitation to visit Santa’s grotto at Tower Gateway DLR station and meet Santa and his helpers. Visitors will also have the opportunity to have their face painted by an artist, make “magical” reindeer food for Santa’s helpers and take part in our DLR Christmas Rescue interactive station search game with the ability to win a prize!
DLR Discovery started in the summer of 2018, with the introduction of a special tourist service operating between Tower Gateway and Cutty Sark. This service connected two major tourist areas in East London together, It gave a unique opportunity to promote areas around the DLR to both tourist, the local community or train enthusiasts.
