Treasure Hunt
Join DLR Discovery, on a treasure hunt that all the family can enjoy this summer.
Until Sunday September 5th, travel along the DLR and take in the history of London's Docklands and discover fun facts as you follow the clues on the DLR treasure map. There's also a chance to win a prize, The Treasure Hunt starts and finishes at Tower Gateway DLR station. Visit our Treasure Stop at Tower Gateway to get more information or get started between 10am and 6pm.
All you need is an adventurous spirit and a valid ticket, validated Oyster card, contactless card or device to travel and remember to wear a face covering during your journey unless exempt. Remember to always touch in and touch out at every station.

When planning your adventure please be aware of upcoming events & closures that will affect your Treasure Hunt:
21 & 22 August - DLR Planned Closure: No service Poplar to Beckton
Affected treasure stations: Royal Victoria (closed) & Pontoon Dock (No service Poplar to Beckton. Woolwich Arsenal trains operating to/from Stratford international only)
22 August - The Vitality Big Half Marathon
In addition to the weekend closure, on Sunday 22nd August please be aware that railway will be much busier than usual between 08:00 and 15:00. This is due to a Half Marathon taking place between Tower Bridge and Greenwich. Some disruption maybe caused between the times above.
28, 29 and 30 August - DLR Planned Closure: Westferry and Poplar to Lewisham
Affected treasure stations (closed): Canary Wharf, Greenwich, Cutty Sark, Island Gardens & West India Quay
Our Treasure Stop at Tower Gateway will remain open - it will be possible to start your Treasure Hunt but completion will not be possible on the dates shown above.
Docklands Light Railway
The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) is an automated light metro system serving the Docklands area of London, England. First opened on 31 August 1987, the DLR has been extended multiple times, and now reaches north to Stratford, south to Lewisham, west to Tower Gateway and Bank in the City of London financial district, and east to Beckton, London City Airport and Woolwich Arsenal.
The DLR is owned by Docklands Light Railway Ltd, part of the London Rail division of Transport for London (TfL).
